How to Get Started With AdSense | AdSense management

A very important factor in getting AdSense up fast is that it was easy for publishers to get ads as quickly as possible.

It takes a few minutes for AdSense to integrate into your website and you can get in your way with one or more beautifully integrated AdSense ads.

The first thing you need to do is navigate to http://www.google.com/adsense and either apply or log in with your existing account and password. The following is a page presenting Google AdSense Terms and Conditions that you must agree to proceed with.

You are presented with a reporting page that you can use to get a detailed status on how your AdSense ads are performing. This allows you to improve your site content and layout to maximize your AdSense revenue

There is also a link in your setup the section at the top of your page where you can create code that needs to be pasted on your website to place the AdSense banner on your page.

You can use AdSense to use a search box or for text (referring ads) with referrals. Your choice of these options depends on how users navigate your site.

Finally, there's a "My Account" tab that lets you set up details about your account, payments, and tax information.

To add a text ad to your site, go back to the "AdSense Setup" tab and click the "AdSense for Content" link. Make sure your cookies are enabled in your browser.

You can choose between the ad unit and the link unit. The former contains text and images related to a specific site for each unit, with most details, while the latter contains only specific types of links.

Of course, it is a bit difficult to know which type you should use so you should probably experiment with the two of you for a while before making a decision.

You can also see an example of how the unit should appear on the right side of your page. However, you can use only three ad units and one link unit on any page. This is considered to be a step towards controlling Google's standards.

The next step is to choose your ad format and colors. If you do not have the time or skill to create, you can basically choose any color palette with Google. With the help of an example, you can constantly see how the palette will look. What works best in terms of presence and revenue is different from the look, feel, and content of a website.

However, your ad formats are limited to a choice of eleven formats. There is an "Ad Formats" link that takes you to a page that lets you see them even more effectively so you can make the best decision about which one is right for your site. Sometimes the most intrusive, but again not the best, it can vary from website to website.

After you finish your customization, you can click "Continue" from the bottom of the page.

You will now be presented with a section entitled "AdSense for Content". You can click anywhere in the text and it shows the JavaScript needed to run AdSense. This will automatically select the text in the box.

You can then copy it and paste it directly onto your page. If you use dynamic pages, your code should be pasted into your template so that it appears on any page of your website. Some advertisers choose not to display AdSense on every page and this is understandable. An example of this would be the terms and conditions of an organization that has AdSense that will inevitably provide legal resources that would be considered inappropriate.

All you have to do then is find the content on your page (if you haven't already). The Google AdSense crawler will soon visit your site, ensuring that the ads displayed are relevant to your site content.

And you're all done. For a typical page, this should be a matter of minutes, which is what makes AdSense so popular. While it’s fast, its public appeal makes it even better. By becoming more and more popular, advertisers and publishers see AdSense and AdWords as their natural first choice.
