Samsung’s Galaxy S series smartphones have come in two variants almost since the time the company introduced the flagship series. One powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos chip and the other powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon chipsets. But now it seems like Samsung would be skipping its own Exynos chipsets for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon. For a long time, the Snapdragon variant was reserved for the US while other regions were getting the Exynos one.
