    Apple AR/VR headset may come with this eye-scanning feature

    Apple’s mixed reality headset may come with an iris-scanning feature to be used in the same way as the FaceID biometrics system is used on iPhones and iPads, as per a report by The Information. The feature is reportedly going to be called ‘Iris ID’ and can be used to authenticate payments or log into accounts without the need for a password. Plus, the feature would enable seamless user switching too, claims the report.
