This new initiative by the Delhi Metro and Airtel Payments Bank is focused on contributing to the government’s vision for Digital India and Financial Inclusion. This new facility will offer Delhi Metro commuters another option to recharge their smart cards through their mobile phones. Airtel claims that these transactions will be completely safe and the app will save the card and net banking details only once.
