2 Billion Google Chrome users at risk the device may be hacked unknowingly
Bug errors increase the risk - Google made it clear in their blog
In
their blog post, Google has released important information about new bug
vulnerabilities. Google claims that hackers are trying to steal our information
through this bug-issue loophole called CVE-2021-37973. The company fears that
even the user's device may be hacked in this way. So the company wants to
ensure the safety of the users by providing new updates quickly. Until then,
however, they are urging Chrome users to take some precautionary measures.
Note that the new issue is a zero-day bug issue that is equally dangerous for
every Chrome user in the world. So the sooner a new version of the browser
comes out, the better. However, cybercriminals are active in getting their work
done before any action is taken by Google. So if you want to know if the device
is safe right now, follow the procedure below.

1.
After opening Google Chrome, select Settings.
2.
Now select the Help option.
3.
Select About Google Chrome.
4.
Check the browser version. If someone has version 94.0.4606.61 of Chrome
stored, they are relatively safe. However, those who are missing the specified
version of the browser have no choice but to wait for the latest update.
However,
Google will provide additional security to our information when using the
Internet so that hackers do not take advantage of new updates. Google has also
advised all users to restart after downloading the latest version of Chrome.
This will allow everyone to forget about using Chrome as before.
